What an incredible month filled with learning more about our student athlete mentor Marc Mastropietro and Goal Setting! Following our exciting athlete reveal, we continued our learning of Goals during the month of October. We used a great cartoon doodle to help get our minds focused on goals! While students watched the cartoon doodle, they wrote down two new things they learned about goals. Once the students finished sharing their learning about goals they were eager to hear what Marc had to say about Goal Setting!
Marc showed the students a tour of where he lived and taught the students about the importance of setting long term and short term goals. Standing back watching my students eyes light up and their pure excitement as Marc appeared on the screen filled my heart with such joy. The students couldn't wait to share everything they learned from Marc about Goal Setting! Marc challenged the students to set a long term goal and three short term goals that will help the students achieve their long term goal.
